✍️ Writing to Inspire Green Transformation

In his speech, Mr. Do Ngoc Thi, Editor-in-Chief and Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized that the contest attracted both professional and amateur writers, reflecting diverse perspectives from various regions and generations.

The submitted works not only portrayed the realities of organic production, business, and consumption, but also conveyed the aspirations of farmers, intellectuals, and enterprises working together towards a clean, green, and sustainable agriculture.

He also stressed that the contest was a meaningful activity leading up to the 8th Asian Organic Congress, affirming the media’s vital role in supporting, encouraging, and raising public awareness on organic agriculture, while spreading its sustainable values, increasingly recognized both domestically and globally.

📝 A Platform Beyond Competition

The Organizing Committee noted that awareness of organic agriculture in Vietnam remains limited, especially in rural areas where chemical-dependent traditional farming is still prevalent.

The contest aimed to address these barriers—not merely as a “playground” but as a platform for knowledge-sharing, storytelling, and policy dialogue, spreading successful models, innovative practices, and inspiring narratives to foster greater community engagement.

Its main goals included:

  • Promoting understanding of organic agriculture’s role for human health, the environment, and sustainable development.

  • Encouraging clean eating, green living, and support for organic products.

  • Identifying and honoring individuals who offered insightful perspectives and practical solutions to advance organic agriculture in Vietnam.

  • Creating opportunities for scientists, journalists, students, and farmers to express their ideas and social responsibility toward environmental and agricultural issues.
